sniff

find the overlap. nothing more, nothing less.

privacy (look at you being responsible)

tldr: i run the server (the "owner", lol) so i could look at sessions in RAM. but there's no accounts, no emails, no ip logging, no persistent storage. just random uuids with checkbox lists that auto delete after the timer. it's way better than dming someone your kinks and having it live in their chat history forever.

what i can see: kink selections while a session is alive. the intersection results. when it was created and when it expires. that's it. i don't really have any reason to go digging though, anonymous checkbox data isn't exactly thrilling reading material. i might peek at how many active sessions there are at some point for the novelty of it, but that's about it.

what i can't see: who you are. your ip. how many times you visited. anything at all after the timer runs out.

what the other person sees: how many kinks you picked (to catch "select all" abuse). only the kinks you share. they never see your full list. if you checked 70%+ of everything, the site warns them you might not be honest.

the entire point of sniff is you don't have to trust a stranger with your full list. you only reveal the overlap. i'm the one exception to that trust boundary as the server operator, but honestly what am i gonna do, read thousands of checkbox lists like it's the world's least interesting novel? i'd rather just see the session count go up and feel a vague sense of accomplishment.
